Safari H20 Drifter Kayak

Seats: 1 paddler (12 years or older)
Best for: Solo day trips

A short boat good for day trips with a small gear compartment in the back. Available for self guided hire at Bendeela Recreation Area or guided Bridge to Bendeela Kayak offerings

Esquif Adirondack 12

Seats: 1 paddler
Best for: Solo multi-day trips

A short boat with plenty of stability for beginners looking to get out on their own. Its size makes it easy to handle when lifting out of the water at camp as well as on the water (even in the wind) being only 17kg and 356cm long. GCI Sitbacker in image included.

Silverbirch Broadland 15

Seats: 2 adults (or 1 adult + 1 child)
Best for: Day trips, calm conditions, paddling with children, or windy days

A shorter, slightly shallower canoe that’s easy to handle - especially in breezy conditions or when paddling with a young passenger. The Broadland 15 offers great stability and comfort, making it an ideal choice for couples or small families exploring the Valley’s waterways.

Esquif Huron 16

Seats: 2 adults + gear
Best for: Overnight or multi-day trips, paddlers wanting extra storage space

This canoe offers excellent speed and efficiency on the water, with generous capacity for camping gear. It easily fits a 70L esky, three 60L barrels, and day packs - perfect for those who like a little comfort on their outdoor adventures.

Esquif Miramichi 20

Seats: 2 adults + gear
Best for: Multi-day paddlers looking for maximum storage potential

For those wanting to camp in luxury and make no compromises on equipment. This 20 foot monster of a boat is able to fit 8 x 60L barrels with room to spare! Perfect for groups wanting to bring a lot of additional equipment or paddlers wanting to camp out with all the luxuries.

Currently only bookable for Bendeela departures with the Tallowa Dam closure.

Best for: Families or small groups, day or overnight trips

The Huron 17 includes an extra seat, providing flexible space for families or trios. Even with additional passengers, it offers plenty of room for camping equipment - up to three 60L barrels.

Swift Keewaydin 18.6

Seats: Up to 4 paddlers
Best for: Families, small groups, or couples wanting more space

With seating for four and impressive speed, the Keewaydin 18.6 offers the experience of two canoes in one. It’s perfect for family day trips and group adventures — fast, efficient, and easy to paddle even for beginners.

Beginner paddlers can travel from Bee Hive Point to Bendeela (14 km) in about 2 hours with minimal effort.
